Words Matter: Know the difference between a DEMOCRACY and a REPUBLIC. The United States of America is a Republic NOT A DEMOCRACY.

The Progressive plan to "Transform America" includes Universal voting that allows anyone to show up and vote without ID; prisoner / felon voting rights; Amnesty for 13 - 20 million illegal aliens and statehood for Puerto Rico. On April 29, the House voted to pass H.R. 2499, that attempts to decieve the free Commonweatlh of Puerto Rico and force a vote for statehood. Watch for it in the Senate. Know what SOCIAL JUSTICE really means. Progressives have taken a phrase that paints a picture of fairness and use it to mean stealing from one and giving to another (of their choosing) better known as redistribution of wealth. Watch for these Social Justice, particularly as it refers to healthcare, schools and churches. Borrowing a radio commentator's definition of the phrase Social Justice is "the forced redistribution of wealth with a hostility towards individual property rights under the guise of charity and / or justice." Spreading the Wealth - Progressives feign to want to create "a sense of balance and fairness in our tax code" to ensure all Americans "pay their fair share." (BHO 2008). Facts about our tax code do not support the contention that our system is is "unfair" in favor of the rich. According to the most recent IRS data:
- The top 5% of earners bring in 37% of the income but pay 60% of the federal income tax.
- The bottom 50% of earners bring home 12% of the income buy pay 3% of the taxes.
- 60% of Americans consume more in government services than they pay in taxes.
There is nothing fair about taking from one group and Americans know that: Acording to an April 2009 Tax Foundation poll, 66% of Americans agree with the statement "Everyone should be required to pay some minimum amount of tax to help fund government." The agreed to maximum tax rate - 16% total. Now that is Spreading the Wealth! Take Socialism - Please! "Whether a nation is socialist or not is determined by a single, simple statistic -- what percent of the economy (GDP) goes to the public sector? When Obama took office, the U.S. public sector (federal, state, and local) spent about 30% of GDP. Now it is 36%. If Obamacare lives to be fully implemented, it will pass 40%. The United Kingdom has a public sector that accounts for about 40% of its economy. Germany is at about 48%, France is at 50% and Sweden at 54%. If Obama is allowed to let the public sector expand to 40% of our GDP, we will become a European socialist democracy, to our everlasting detriment. We will thereby inherit the sclerosis that afflicts Europe - permanently high unemployment and low economic growth." I love French food, German cars, British writers, and Italian music ... but not this much.

DEBT: How close are we to GREECE? To understand the pertinence to America if events in Greece, notice General Motors' most recent misbehavior. A television commercial featuring CEO Ed Whitacre demonstrates the institutional murkiness and intellectual dishonesty that result when the line between public and private sectors disappears. In the commercial, Whitacre says GM has 'repaid our government loan in full.' Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., noted that GM used government funds to pay back the government: It 'simply transferred $6.7 billion from one taxpayer-funded TARP account to another.' The government still owns 60.8 percent of GM's common equity, and the Congressional Budget Office projects that the government will lose about $34 billion of the $82 billion of TARP funds dispersed to the automotive industry. When Ryan and two colleagues asked the Treasury Department for clarification, they got this careful reply: 'Treasury has never suggested that the loan repayment represented a full return of all government assistance.' A Treasury press release did say 'GM Repays Treasury Loan in Full.' The loan is, however, a small part of taxpayer exposure. Under crony capitalism, when government and corporate America merge, both dissemble. Now American taxpayers also own a little bit of a small nation. They provide the U.S. contribution of 17 percent of the assets of the International Monetary Fund, which is giving Greece $39 billion (the IMF also is contributing $321 billion to a 'stabilization' fund for other eurozone nations with debt problems). So the U.S. government, which would borrow 42 cents of every dollar it spends under the president's 2011 budget, is borrowing to rescue Greece and others from the consequences of their borrowing." --columnist George Will

BTW the last time the Federal Government took over Wall Street - they extended the Depression by 15 years!
