Resources
The RESET 2010™ Library is a virtual library of resources for Grassroots Organizations (GROs). We offer links to valuable resources for winning in this MID-TERM ELECTION YEAR. We encourage GROs to check out these resources periodically, because they are updated. In 2009, Conservatives lost NY23 by less than 300 votes - we won't let that happen again in 2010!
RESET2010.ORG neither endorses any specific group nor any methodology they may employ. Instead, RESET2010.ORG provides links and summaries to GROs as resources – like books in a library – feel free to take them off the shelf, study them and put them to good use, or simply put them back on the shelf. Enjoy!
About Judges: George Will spoke to important questions that should be asked of Elena Kagan, an accomplished academician and politician - an unqualified candidate for Supreme Court:
"Pursuant to Elena Kagan's expressed enthusiasm for confirmation hearings that feature intellectual snap, crackle and pop, here are some questions the Senate Judiciary Committee can elate her by asking: -- Regarding campaign finance 'reforms': If allowing the political class to write laws regulating the quantity, content and timing of speech about the political class is the solution, what is the problem? -- If the problem is corruption, do we not already have abundant laws proscribing that? -- If the problem is the 'appearance' of corruption, how do you square the First Amendment with Congress restricting speech in order to regulate how things 'appear' to unspecified people? -- Incumbent legislators are constantly tinkering with the rules regulating campaigns that could cost them their jobs. Does this present an appearance of corruption? -- Some persons argue that our nation has a 'living' Constitution; the court has spoken of 'the evolving standards of decency that mark the progress of a maturing society.' But Justice Antonin Scalia, speaking against 'changeability' and stressing 'the whole antievolutionary purpose of a constitution,' says 'its whole purpose is to prevent change -- to embed certain rights in such a manner that future generations cannot readily take them away. A society that adopts a bill of rights is skeptical that 'evolving standards of decency' always 'mark progress,' and that societies always 'mature,' as opposed to rot.' Is he wrong?" --columnist George Will1
This November is about what we want in America!
A BITTER DOSE OF REALITY: WE LOST SIX OF THE LAST SEVEN CONGRESSIONAL RACES SINCE 2009 - Badly. DO NOT GET OVERLY-CONFIDENT: Demonstrations / Tea Parties do not equal success at the polls!

ELECTION INFORMATION: U.S. CONGRESSIONAL SEATS IN PLAY
To date, in 2010, there are
53 Congressional seats in play because of retirements, political ambitions, scandal, etc. The most recent, Rep Obey, one of the most powerful if not cantankerous Dems in the House. Regardless, the numbers are surprisingly even - Of the 41 House seats, 20 are Democratic House seats, 21 are Republican House seats. The dozen Senate seats up for grabs are evenly divided between Dems and Repubs. See
Congressional Seats in Play: April 2010 for specifics.

ELECTION INFORMATION: STATISTICS
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY:
We would create a WALL OF FAME if we could find sufficient examples of present-day exemplary representation: HERE'S AN ELECTED OFFICIAL WHO IS INCREASINGLY ADMIRED in spite of many millions being spent on negative ads by the NJ Teachers' Union. Gov. Christie of NJ (By no means a "silver tongued" politician - at last, straight talk!)
OBAMACARE:
A COMPLICIT MEDIA:
Our Founding Fathers included the Press in the First Amendment because they fully expected that there would always be an objective, investigative, honest media that would keep our government in line. Sadly, that has not been the case for some time: years now. Whether it was the lack of due diligence on candidate BHO BEFORE the election, or investigating the process or content of Obamacare BEFORE it passed, the press has been part of the current administration and majority party. Take the coverage of Constitutionalist GROs - see a recent report on the bias: Media Coverage of Tea Parties
